The Infirmary is a building which holds and heals injured defenders. The player may have as many Infirmaries as they wish, as long as the total number of Barrack, Infirmary and Manor does not exceed 17.

Overview[]

  • When troops are defeated in a battle outside of the player's turf (e.g. attacking other players or during Skirmishes), 60% of the troops (highest tier troops) will be sent to the Infirmary as long it is not at full capacity, the remaining 40% will be dead, unless there is space in the sanctuary to take them, in which case 38% of troops (highest tier troops) will be sent to the sanctuary.
  • When troops are attacked when defending a tile or inside the player's turf, all injured troops will be sent to the Infirmary, providing there are still Infirmary spaces available.
  • If troops are defeated when the Infirmary is at full capacity, the troops will be dead, unless there is space in the sanctuary, in which case (80% if defending, 38% if attacking) will be sent to the sanctuary to be revived.
  • A majority of wounded and dead troops are revived in Darknest rallies.

Upgrading the infirmary will increase the capacity of the infirmary. At Level 25, the turf will receive a bonus Army Max HP increase of 5%.

The total Infirmary Capacity can be increased with the Bigger Infirmary I, Bigger Infirmary II, and Bigger Infirmary III researches, for a total increase of 21%. The Mole Shaman's Natural Remedy skill, when maxed, increases Infirmary Capacity by another 5%.

Infirmary Healing Speed can be increased with the Field Triage I and Field Triage II researches, for a total increase of 95%. The Strix Familiar's Blood Bag skill can increase Healing Speed by another 25%.

Healing Cost and Time[]

Healing cost of a wounded troop is 40% of the training cost of that troop, after discounts from Subsidy researches. Healing costs no resources in Dragon Arena, is reduced by 50% in Guild Expedition and by 90% in Chaos Arena.

Original healing time of a wounded troop is 1/30 of the original training time of that troop, except for Tier 1 troop, which takes no time to heal (except in Dragon Arena).

Actual healing time depends on the Healing Bonuses stat, which works similar to other speed increases (for example, a 100% boost meaning it takes half the original time to heal). Healing Bonuses stat is the total of the following two stats:

During Guild Expedition, while in the event battleground, a 100% additive boost in Infirmary Healing Speed is applied, with an additional 50% additive boost applied if Solo Silver Pass is purchased in Solo Journey. During Chaos Arena, a 90% multiplicative reduction in healing time is applied.
