Limited Challenge

Limited Challenges are special Events where players can complete special Hero Stages, and receive Medals for a specific Hero as the reward. Limited Challenges are unlocked at Castle Level 5 and after completing Skirmish 3 - Vantage. Each Limited Challenge event will last for 7-10 days (there was an exception for Cosmo Unleashed, which lasted for 60 days). The same Limited Challenge may appear again at a later date, in which case, the stages will be reused and you can increase the number of shields obtained for the hero.s

The Stages are located inside a players Turf, to the right of their Castle, where the hero that can be obtained will be perched on a rocky outcropping. Tap on the hero to enter the stages.

• Unlike regular Hero Stages, the stages in the Limited Challenge do not cost Stamina.
• There are between six to ten stages in total, and one stage is unlocked per day, on the first six days. You can leave it until the last day and unlock all stages .

Requirements

Each stage in the Challenge has requirements, or restrictions, that must be met in order to complete it. These may include the following:

• All heroes must survive
• Not more than (number of) hero(es) can die
• Must use (a specific hero)
• Clear stage with the imposed restrictions
• Reduced time limit (for example to 60s)

Note: When players must use a specific hero to complete a stage, that hero is locked into the Lineup (represented by chains over the icon) and can't be withdrawn. If the player already has that hero, it is taken from their hero list, so duplicate heroes cannot be used. Regarding the hero survival restrictions, heroes that use Revival (such as Death Knight) can still die once.

Hero Lineups

Given that 1-5 heroes are always locked into the stage lineups, players only need to add 0-4 heroes, to complete the lineups. These heroes must be chosen from the players existing hired heroes, and there are often multiple lineups that work for each stage.

Note: not all of the combinations will work first time. You may need to retry multiple times to succeed.

Rewards

Players will receive a premium reward consisting of 1-3 Hero Medals, the first time they clear a stage. Players can only get each stage's reward once. All the Hero Medal rewards so far, have been for Paid Heroes.
